The DS8 Digital Weighing Indicator is a high-precision digital indicator designed primarily for heavy-duty truck scales, weighbridges, floor scales, and static railway systems. It directly supports and connects with digital load cells using the standard communication protocol, connecting up to 16 digital load cells in RS485 mode (4 or 6-wire). It features a 7-bit ultra-high-bright beige LED display with 5 adjustable brightness levels, operates on AC 187V-242V or an optional external rechargeable 12V DC battery, and supports RS232C communication (with optional RS422/RS485) plus a standard scoreboard interface (20mA current loop) up to 2000 meters. Operational functions include auto, semi-auto, and manual angle/corner correction, non-linearity correction, calibration tolerance correction, zero-point calibration, and diagnostic checking of individual load cells and angle data.
